We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2023, at the age of 85, Marlene (Sylvester) Townsend (Montrose, Colorado), born in Denver, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Everett Sylvester and Helen Sylvester (Poppert); her husband Kenneth Townsend; her children, Brad Townsend of Denver, Kim Townsend of Denver, Kerri Pirzadeh of Glenwood Springs and Kelli Kingery of Montrose; her family, Marlene and Kenneth; and her sister Marcia Carlson (Sylvester). She was also cherished by 4 children, their spouses, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
