It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Ronald Saunders of Montrose, Colorado, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Saunders and Alleen Saunders (Menefee); and his siblings, Ed Saunders, Roger Saunders, Shirley Wing and Joyce Sawyer.
He is survived by: his former wife Myrna Brown; his daughters, Ronnalee and Connie Sue; his wife Nancy Sluiter; his daughter Elizabeth; his siblings, Gene Saunders of Montrose, Roy Saunders (Connie) of Houston, Ken Saunders (Sherri) of Surprise and Karen Massey (Jim) of Farmington; his sisters-in-law, Ann Saunders of Montrose and Joan Saunders of Goodyear; and his niece Elizabeth of Grand Junction. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
