With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Santiago Vigil of Monte Vista, Colorado, born in Guadalupita, New Mexico, who passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Santiago Vigil Sr. and Viola Regnesberg; his son Gerald Vigil; and his siblings, Pauline Castruita, Lorenzo Vigil, Edna Vigil and Pat Vigil.
He is survived by: his wife Maria "Lourdes" Martinez; his children, Barbara Vigil and Nick Vigil; his grandchildren, Tamara Cannafax (Doug), Andrea McCollough, Erin Burton (Mike), Beka Altizer (Justin) and Tim Vigil (Kayla); his sister Amalia Gabbert; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Vigil, Landon Burton and Leighton Burton. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
