He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Brumfield and Mildred Brumfield. He is survived by: his wife June; his sons, Scott Brumfield (Carrie) of Monte Vista and Greg Brumfield (Debbie) of Grand Junction; his sister Katherine Brumfield Boyer (Ted) of Germantown, TN; his siblings-in-law, Glenda Bedoka of Chino Hills, CA and Mike Sanner of Monte Vista; and his pet Mutt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice.
