It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Nietsche of Monte Vista, Colorado, born in Hudson, New York, who passed away on May 27, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, RaymondHans Nietsche and Margaret Nietsche (Clark); and his sister Virginia McManigal. He is survived by: his wife Gayla; his daughters, April Nietsche of Monte Vista and Ashley DePriest (Jared) of Sanford; his grandsons, Joseph DePriest (Emily) of Logan and Dalton DePriest; his children, Julie Brown, Michael and Mark Nietsche (Darlene) of Marysville; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Mark, Brent, Jillian and Samantha; his great grandchild Dixie DePriest; his sister Carol Rose (Bill); and his brother-in-law Ron McManigal. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
