Lila Eloisa Espinoza Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lila Eloisa Espinoza of Monte Vista, Colorado, who passed away on August 26, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrocina Maria Martinez and Juan Francisco Maestas; her husband Tato; her son Paul Dean "Dennis" Espinoza; her daughter-in-law Janice Espinoza; her grandchildren, Roderick Cordova, Angelina Earls and Jeshua Espinoza; and her siblings, Raymond Maestas, Miguel "Mike" Maestas, Anselmo "Elmo" Maestas, Anthony Chavez and Connie Gonzales.

She is survived by: her brother Bert Chavez of South Jordan, UT.. She is also survived by her 32 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

She recovered from a tough fall, defeated Covid, and persisted until the end when natural causes relinquished her vigor.
