It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juan Francisco Romero of Monte Vista, Colorado, born in Dixon, New Mexico, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Amadeo Montoya and Estefanita Montoya; his wife Ruth; and his children, Lewis and Annette Romeo.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa VanderVoort (Dirk) and Frank Romero (Cathy Cornell). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
