He is survived by: his wife Betty Venter (Locke); his children, Darren Venter (Brenda) of Monte Vista, D'Ann Peterson (Rusty) of Perry and Denise Wood (Doug) of Manhattan; and his grandchildren, Cody Peterson, Amanda Peterson, Tia Wood and Tara Wood.
