She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Hart and Dorothy Hart of Monte Vista, Colorado.; her brothers, Ivan Hart, Loyal Hart and Ronnie Hart; and her son Douglas Kanatzar.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Kanatzar of Boise and Steve Kanatzar of Colorado Springs; her grandchildren, Ashley Morrison, Nick Morrison, Jackie Ripke, Steve Kanatzar and Cameron Kanatzar; her stepson Bill Merrell; her stepdaughter-in-law Carol Merrell; her stepdaughter Kay Merrell; and her siblings, Ruth Ann Adams of Commerce City and LaVern Hart of Monte Vista, Colorado.. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
