She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hunter and Anna Hunter; her husband Gene Morgan; her sister Gini Garner; her brother-in-law Richard Berger; and her son-in-law Harold Martin.

She is survived by: her children, C. E. Glunz (Shari) of Monte Vista, CO and Dawn Martin of Alamosa, CO; her stepdaughter Sue Plane (Darrel, family: Gordon Morgan, Janet Gonzales); her grandchildren, J. R. Martin (D'Anna), Jarrad Martin and Angela DeSautell; her great grandchild Maverick Martin; and her sister Karen Berger of Duck. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rio Grande Hospital or the Monte Vista Community Ambulance Fund in Darlene's name.
