She was predeceased by: her parents, Candelario Garza and Anna Cuellar Garza; her husband Arthur Eloy Cordova; her granddaughter Brooke Medina; and her sisters, Mary Barraza and Rita Aldaz.
She is survived by: her children, April Cordova of Monte Vista, CO and Anouk "Nikki" Ferguson (Jonathan) of Corpus Christi, TX; her grandchildren, Justin Mascarenas, Pete Medina, Kayla Sisneros and Rico Lopez; and her siblings, Jake Garza of Bakersfield, CA, Josh Garza of Bakersfield, CA, John Garza of Bakersfield, CA, Frances Garza of Bakersfield, CA and Rosa Ramirez of Alamosa, Colorado. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
