We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2023, at the age of 90, Dorothy Whitner-Poole in Minturn, Colorado, born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Joseph and John; and her son Edward. She is survived by: her husband Robert Poole; and her daughters, Deborah and Elizabeth (Bob). She is also survived by sons and daughters and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends from near and far are invited to honor her memory by making a donation to youth programs of the Salida Regional Library, such as Story Time with Becky, Youth Writers' Group, or League of Librarians.
