He was predeceased by: his parents, Geronimo Ramirez and Benita Ramirez (Mireles); his wife Juanita Padilla; his children, Juan and Isabel; and his siblings, Maria Zamora, Andrea Guerrero, Rosa Troncoso and Cipriano Ramirez.
He is survived by: his children, Irene Gilman (Alonzo) of Berthoud, Esmeralda Ray (Robert) of Greeley, Teresa Garcia (Richard) of Oklahoma City, OK and Abel Ramirez, Jr.; his grandchildren, Tito Gilman, Dusty Gilman, Jessica Ray, Rebecca Bergstrom, Richard Garcia, Jr., Anthony Garcia, Joshua Garcia, Rebekah Garcia and Mateos Ramirez; and his siblings, Juan Ramirez, Guadalupe Ramirez, Antonia Arredondo, Jose Ramirez, Geronimo Ramirez, Salomon Ramirez and Pedro Ramirez. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
