She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Michel and Elizabeth Michel (Foos); her husband Lester Burkey of Merino, CO.; her siblings, Lydia Fritzler and Alexander Michel (Lester Burkey) of Merino, CO.; and her grandchildren, Michael C. Burkey and Julie A. Burkey.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Lucinda; her sister Betty Fritzler of Merino, CO.; her children, Larry Burkey (Adair) of Cheyenne and Lucinda McCaffrey (Burkey) of Cheyenne; her grandchildren, Timothy McCaffrey of Cheyenne and Rebecca McCaffrey (Tom Tremethick) of Boise, Idaho; her great grandchildren, Christian (Delasia) and Kayla Burkey; and her great great grandchildren, Parker and Persephone.

The family asks that any donations be made to St. Jude's, or charity of your choice.
