With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sheila Colleen Caldwell in Meeker, Colorado, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sheila may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryne Amen and Herschel Freemont McBride; her husband Hugh Leonard Caldwell, Jr. (Gus); her grandchildren, Tyland Seth Caldwell and Nathan Hugh Caldwell; and her great grandchild Mahaya Janet Garner-Smuts.
She is survived by: her sister Frances Brown; and her children, Colleen Poole (Keith), Lenora Smuts (late Rod), Leonard Caldwell (Diana) and Kathryne Caldwell (Kathy). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
