He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Mortenson and Ruth Mortenson (Palesch); his former wife Ann Marilyn Taylor; his children, Ronald R. Mortenson, Timothy J. Mortenson and Kathleen Marie Mortenson; his grandson Michael Merchant; and his siblings, Joan Streeter, Louis J. Mortenson III and Terry Mortenson.
He is survived by: his daughter Sara Willis (Mark) of Apple Valley, MN; his grandchildren, Daniel Willis, Tammy Luebbert (Robert) and Bethany May; his siblings, Charles "Chuck" Mortenson, Lois Cole (Cary), Clark Mortenson (Barb) and Rita Hawes (Paul); his daughter-in-law Carolyn Mortenson; and his sisters-in-law, Lynda Summerall and Nora Mortenson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
