He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. O'Leary and Florence McBreen O'Leary; and his son Edward Thomas O'Leary (Teddy). He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Michael O'Leary (Mary Virginia "Mimi"), Sean O'Leary (Krista), Suzanne Donohoe (Matthew) and James O'Leary (Shannon); his grandchildren, Joe, Mary Kate and Jack O'Leary; his children, Kalenn, Charlie O'Leary, Mae, Annie, Emmet Donohoe, Jordan Lockner, Kellen and Reilly O'Leary; and his siblings, Conall O'Leary, Maureen O'Leary-Farr, Peter O'Leary and Daniel O'Leary (Diane). He is also survived by extended family, including over forty nieces and nephews, two dozen in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mike's honor can be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
