It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Elizabeth Newman of Mead, Colorado, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Straughn and Lucy Straughn; her husband Glenn "Pat" Newman; her brother Kenneth; and her grandson Aaron Merriman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane (Dan Merriman) and Linda (Tony Mollohan); her grandchildren, Adam Merriman, Travis Thaler, Danielle Thaler, Kristin Merriman, Jamie Merriman, Laura Beck and Kelly McVicar; and her great grandchildren, Evan Merriman, Jaden Merriman, Logan Thaler, Grant Thaler and Aaron Merriman.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Trail Winds Hospice Foundation.
