It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Wertz of McClave, Colorado, who passed away on July 25, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Edna has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sherman and Mary Jane Reed (Jameson); her son Steven Ray Wertz; her son-in-law David Snyder; and her granddaughter Leah Snyder.
She is survived by: her husband Ivon Wertz; her children, Stanley Wertz (Connie) of Lamar, CO, Rhonda Snyder of McClave, CO and Brent Wertz (ZuElla) of McClave, CO; her daughter-in-law Barbara Wertz of McClave, CO; and her siblings, Bill Reed of Quinter, KS, Oty Reed of Dallas Center, IA and Ruth Haldeman of Dallas Center, IA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
