It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arleta B. Allen (McClave, Colorado), born in Hasty, Colorado, who passed away on February 2, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Kelly Allen and Michael Allen; and her brothers, Donald Branom, Bill Branom and Lawrence "Jake" Branom.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Allen of Hartsel, CO, Cindy Falconburg (Marty) of Lamar, Sandy Halford of Corvallis, OR, Diana Tixier of Lamar and Scott Allen of McClave, CO; her brother Sam Branom (Sue) of Yuma, CO; and her stepchildren, Virgil Barber of La Junta, CO and Jimmy James Barber of La Junta, CO. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
