It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie D. Burton (Mancos, Colorado), who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Burton and Nancy E. Burton (Henson); his wife Mary Elizabeth Burton (Allen); his daughter Nancy Biles (Burton); his son-in-law Raymond Biles; and his brother Billy Gene Burton.
He is survived by: his children, James Burton (Jan) of Grand Junction, Colo and Mary Ann Sanders of Cortez; his grandchildren, Ron Biles (Melissa), Jason Biles (Elaine), Greg Burton (Jolene), Bonnie Burton and Jared Sanders (Kelsey); and his great grandchildren, Aaron, Matthew, Nathan Biles, Hannah, Noah Biles, Kadin and Jayden Sanders.
