He was predeceased by: his father Larry Sowards. He is survived by: his mother Sharon Sowards; and his siblings, Debra Sowards Cerny (Keith) of Alamosa, Bryan Sowards (Terese) of Alamosa, Lori Sowards of Pleasant Grove and Kirk Sowards of Manassa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
