He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Christensen and Lora Christensen; his wife Barbara Weaver; his sister Coleen Binder; and his granddaughter Amanda Kerns.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Christensen (Holly) of Cedaredge, CO, Eddie Christensen (Kristy) of La Jara, CO, Rusty Christensen (Linda) of Alamosa, Ronnie Christensen of Monte Vista, CO, Rhonda Barr (Todd) of Manassa, CO and Ryan Christensen (Lori) of Monte Vista, CO; his siblings, Willie Christensen, Cleann Brost and Tommy Christensen; and his brother-in-law John Binder. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 30 ½ great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
