He was predeceased by: his mother Melva Layton Wood; his son Kelly J. Wood of Albuquerque; and also Uncle Ferron Layton. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Richard Wood, Stacie McHattie, Steve McHattie, John Wood, Jessica Wood, David Holliday, Francine Holliday, Shelly Pino and Ben Pino; his grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, James, Theresa, Connor and Sarah; and his sister Twila Wood.
