He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Troy Sowards and Vida Jackson Sowards; his wife Avaline; his children, Melody Holland (Michael) of Kailua, Shaun Sowards (Cyndy) of St. Louis and Troy Sowards (Camille) of Manassa, CO; and his sister-in-law Coral Sowards of Manassa, CO. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
