He was predeceased by: his siblings, Phyllis King, Evelyn Anderson, Dallas Smith, Coralee Otteson and Betty Ross.
He is survived by: his wife ViDella; his children, Terryl Smith (Susan) of Alamosa, Gayland Smith (Cindy) of Manassa, Debra Hoover (Larry) of Manassa, Morris Smith (Cindy) of Sterling, CO and Nancy Byers (Tom) of Layton; and his siblings, Floraine Wilson and Gail Smith. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
