He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Norland Bagwell and Mary Catherine "Katie"; his wife Ruth; his siblings, Afton Huffaker, Verla Crowther, Thora Goimarac and LaVere Bagwell; and his great grandchild Kristi Bagwell.

He is survived by: his children, Tom Bagwell (Barbara), Lee Bagwell (Grace) and Charles of Manassa; his grandchildren, Janet Harris, Doug Bagwell (Lynda), Melanie Bagwell, Lisa Rhead (Vern), Terri Neurenburg (Matt), David Goddard (Connie), Steven Goddard (Karen), Stephanie Bothell (Aaron), Randal Bagwell (Cherrie), Rebecca Chapman (Doug), James Bagwell, Melissa Flake (Levin) and Danielle Bagwell; and his sisters, Coral Sowards and Radeen Sigmon. He is also survived by 37 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
