He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Kozar and Anthony Kozar; and his sisters, Rose Scott, Dolores Maki and Jeannette Steinert.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lax Kozar; and his sisters, Leone DeBernardi and Marie Klun. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church (3791 Pike Rd, Longmont, CO 80503). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (3791 Pike Rd, Longmont, CO 80503). Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Foothills Garden of Memories Cemetery (14241 N 107th St, Longmont, CO 80504).
