With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Oscar Ramirez of Loveland, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Ramirez and Thelma Ramirez; his former wife Maggie Ramirez; and his siblings, Arnoldo Ramirez, Ronaldo Ramirez, Angelina Garcia and Aida Herrera.
He is survived by: his wife Josie; his sister Thelma Garza (Abelardo); his children, Leatriz Marie Matthews (Steve), Oscar Xavier Ramirez (Cindy) and Lisa Ann Ramirez (Brian); his stepdaughter Marianne Salinas (Michael); his grandchildren, Kelsey Valentine (Tyler), Marisa Steele (Robert), Mitchell Matthews, Kevin Matthews, Ryan Ramirez and Maggie Harrison; his stepgrandchildren, Sebastian Salinas, Annika Salinas and Christopher Harrison; and his great grandchildren, Landon Valentine, Troy Valentine and Kendall Valentine.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Seaside Funeral Home (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412). A rosary was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ss Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church (3210 S Padre Island Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78415). An entombment was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Seaside Memorial Park (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412).
