He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Moeller and June Moeller; and his grandparents, George and Maude Kershner. He is survived by: his wife Lynda; his sons, Brit (Stacey) and Shane; his granddaughter Mila; his children, Riley, Kyla, Tim Riggs (Ivy) and Tina Kastle (Jeff); and also Shannon.

After contracting COVID in 2022 he developed long COVID with lung disease and liver disease being a complication.
