He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stafford and Lela Sturgis Stafford; and his brothers, Joseph Stafford II and James Stafford. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; and his sisters, Marilyn Zumwalt, Carolyn Kieffer and Margaret Murray. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
