He was predeceased by: his brother Stefan Grimm. He is survived by: his parent Maria Grimm (Warzecha); his children, Katja Maria Christensen and Jan Thomas Andreas Grimm; his daughter-in-law Lynda Grimm; his siblings, Brygida Grimm and Henryk Grimm; his grandchildren, Lindsey Grimm, Sarah Grimm and Peter Grimm; and his nieces, Magdalena Grimm-Kostka, Maria Grimm and Joanna Chylicka.
