He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ysebaert and Germana Ysebaert (Bayens). He is survived by: his wife Agnes Goethals of Virginia; his children, David Ysebaert (Kim) of Texas, John Ysebaert (Kelly) of Wyoming, James Ysebaert (Kathleen) of Colorado, Joan (Larry Baumgardner) of Virginia, Mary (Kevin Pierce) of Nebraska and Linda (Joe Mayfield) of California; and his brother Julien Ysebaert of New Jersey. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
