He is survived by: his children, Mary (Pete) of Arvada, Karl (Patti) of Lubbock, TX and Veryl of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Lelah Simon of Los Angeles and Nate Gensler of Lubbock; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Nehemiah, Abigail and Gunner Gensler of Lubbock; his brother Eugene of Longmont; and his close friend Donna Befus.
