She was predeceased by: her parents, Binford Duff Cardinal and Lillian Ann (Chodur); her husband Del Ray LePore; her daughter Kim Puzo; and her brother Frank "Buzz" Cardinal.

She is survived by: her children, Wendi Nafziger (Ced), Craig Hammer (Jo Ann) and Sheridon Simington (TJ); her grandchildren, Joshua Nafziger (Laura), Jeramy Puzo, Austin Hammer, Ryan Nafziger (Elizabeth), Caitlin Simington, Jay Simington, Shayla Simington, Robert Hatheway, Kyle Hatheway and Christina Lopez; her great grandchildren, April Puzo, Tyson Hammer and Baileigh Simington; her sister-in-law Joy Cardinal; her nieces and nephews, Stacy Carter (Jason), Paige Wolk (Ron) and Christy Rowsey; her sister-in-law Carol Wilson (Chuck); her nieces and nephews, Rehnay Waligora (Bob) and Kirk Bradford (Michelle); her cousin Tres Wyatt (Barb); and also, Cameron, Turner, Lane Wyatt (Jean), Tim Wyatt and Riede Wyatt (Carole).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Howe Mortuary & Crematory (439 Coffman St, Longmont, CO 80501). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Longmont Mountain View Cemetery (620 11th Ave, Longmont, CO 80501).

In lieu of flowers, Sheri's wishes were to have donations made to the Wounded Warrior Project with great respect for her military family.
