With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Elmer Childs of Longmont, Colorado, who passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ronald Elmer may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ronald Elmer touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Meg Heitlinger (John), James (Lauren) and Curtis; his grandchildren, Kate, Max and Ayden; and his brother Orville.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church (640 Alpine St, Longmont, CO 80504).
