Rodolfo Nuñez Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodolfo Nuñez of Longmont, Colorado, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rodolfo Nuñez to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Nuñez and Epifania Nuñez (Hernandez); his grandmother Bernarda "Yaya" Velasquez; his siblings, Eva Kenworthy, Virginia Thomas (Robert), Genevieve Nealley and Ysabel "Izzy" Nuñez; and his brother-in-law Ralph "Blackie" Gonzalez.
He is survived by: his wife Yolanda; his son Lenny; his sisters, Ramona Stanard, Vivian Texeria and Angie Gonzalez; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Nealley and Delilah Nuñez. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Howe Mortuary & Crematory (439 Coffman St, Longmont, CO 80501). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (3791 Pike Rd, Longmont, CO 80503). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (620 11th Ave, Longmont, CO 80501). A reception will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the American Legion Post 32 (315 S Bowen St, Longmont, CO 80501).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to TRU Community Care Hospice of Longmont, Colorado.
