He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Herring and Margaret Herring (Jones); and his brothers, Ron Herring and Ray Herring. He is survived by: his wife Jima Taclendo Herring; his children, Kelly Herring and Kevin Herring (Paige); his stepdaughters, Rogelyn Reyes, Regine Reyes and Clarissa Taclendo (Travis Mill); his grandchildren, Jacquelyn Reidel (Marshall), Jordan Jankovsky, Lexi Jankovsky, Connor Smith, Addie Smith, Kali Herring, Kaison Mill, Warren Reyes, Andrei Bullozo, Stacey Bullozo, Chloe Bullozo and Sean Israel Bullozo; his great grandchild Kennedi Riedel; his sister Ruth Gould (Dave); and his former wife Julie Fischer. He is also survived by 7 nieces/nephews, 12 great nieces/nephews and 8 great-grand nieces/nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the The St Vrain (635 3rd Ave, Longmont, CO 80501).
