He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Bruce Thompson (Sasha), Candace Thompson and Janette Thompson-Purtell (Tomas); his nephew Matthew Thompson; his niece Sophie Thompson (Masen Povich); his great-nephew Jaydon Rothe-Thompson (Vanessa Moore); and his wife Karen Fay Hoy.
