He was predeceased by: his mother Nita Nelson; his father-in-law Charles Rosckes; and his stepfather-in-law Gene Meuwissen. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Tonja (Larry Twito), Cory (Michelle Nelson), Amy (Kellar Moore) and Dana (Andrew Weber); his father John Nelson; and his siblings, Jack (Phung Nelson), Brenda (Steve Olson), Troy (Marchell Nelson) and Dan (Maureen Nelson). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws.
