She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Palan and Marguerite Palan; her brother Roy Palan (Irma); and her husband Harold Cartin. She is survived by: her sons, Dan Cartin (Yvonne) and Kevin Cartin (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Tess Cartin, Shawn Cartin and Isaac Cartin; and her siblings, Bill (Diane), Carolyn (late Al) and Ruth (late Gary). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Colorado Talking Book Library, in Helen's honor.
