She was predeceased by: her parents, Johannes Heil and Rebecca Heil; her husband Merton Lynn Jones; her sons, Richard Karl Jones and Douglas Gene Jones; and her grandson Gregory Joe Jones.
She is survived by: her daughter Jodene DeKorte (Kevin) of Fort Morgan; her daughter-in-law Cynthia Jones of Brush; her grandchildren, Desirae Martin (Timothy) of Brush and Ashley Jones (Sara) of Loveland; and her great grandchildren, Caelum, Joslyn and Harlow Martin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary (225 E Platte Ave, Fort Morgan, CO 80701). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mountain View Memorial Park (3016 Kalmia Ave, Boulder, CO 80301).
In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to make memorial donations in Jean's honor to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 603 Custer Street, Brush, CO 80723, for the quilters.
