He was predeceased by: his wife Darlene L. Trautman; his siblings, Kenny, Mike and Pat; and his grandson Jeffery A. Mathias.
He is survived by: his children, Edward L. Patton, Jr. (Phyllis), Kathleen A. Arthur (Edward) and Cynthia S. Kennedy (Brad); and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren.
