We bid farewell to Wilma Jean Oakley in Littleton, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 30, 2024 at the age of 86. Wilma Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Downey and Sophie Downey. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Oakley; her children, Katherine Johnson (Jim), Ron Oakley (Sherry) and Lisa Meeks (Matt); her sister Bernice Muller; and her grandchildren, Matt, Kara, Evan, Annie and Emmie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Benkelman Memorial Chapel (205 Buffalo St, Benkelman, NE 69021). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Benkelman Cemetery.
