He is survived by: his parents, Pamela Kuhrt (Mark) and Karl McGarva (Robin); his grandmother Sylvia Johner; his brothers, William McGarva (Breanna) and Christopher McGarva (Tanya); his stepdaughter Krystal Hupp (Robbie); and his niece Payton Hupp. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
