She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Harris and Bertha Harris; her daughter Dr. Jan Perloff; her significant other Colonel O. J. Mike Medaris; and her husband Major John C. Shinn.
She is survived by: her stepson Tony Medaris of Denver Colorado; her son-in-law Dr. Kerry Perloff of Lakewood Colorado; and her grandchildren, Dr. Eric Perloff (Sophie Perloff) and Dr. Andrea Perloff.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - Southwest Denver/Lakewood (3101 S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80227).
