She was predeceased by: her grandmother Nancy Lorena Akin Higgins (Proceeding); and her parents, Francis Lester and Mary Lorena Higgins Adams. She is survived by: her brothers, Douglas Lester and Kaylon Francis; her former spouse Obbie Stevenson; her children, Norlan Lee, Kyran David and Amber Eugenia Harris; her husband Keith Vest; and her daughters, Sharon and Kathleen Marie. She is also survived by five children, ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
