“My Mom and Dad started having trouble when I was in 2nd grade. The Carlsen house became a sanctuary for me. I felt so comfortable there. Stumpy was always smiling, laughing, and feeding all of us. One of my nicknames growing up was Randy Roundman. I partially blame Stumpy for that. Thank you for the laughs, Churned Butter, spending the night, lasagna, tons of food, and all the love. She was so great to me. God Bless you, Mrs. Carlsen. Thanks for EVERYTHING!”
