He was predeceased by: his parents, George Eckert and Frances Belle Williams; his wife Dorothy Miscevich; his sons, Robert (Janet) and Mark (Barbara); and his grandchild Sandy.
He is survived by: his sons, George Eckert III, Barry Eckert (Mary) and Ron Eckert (Maribel); his daughters-in-law, Janet Eckert and Barbara Eckert; and his grandchildren, Dylon, Michael, Jessie, Keri, Amy and Becca. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
He had many losses, suffered a stroke, was a single amputee, and survived COVID after a very long hospitalization.
