She was predeceased by: her son Arjun Mani; and her parents, Kamala Jayaraman and Aiyasami Jayaraman. She is survived by: her husband Ganpat Mani; her daughter Seetha Mani (Garrett); her sister Chitra Narayanan (Vinodh); and her nephews, Vasant Narayanan and Mohan Narayanan.
